Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Orthopedics and Ergonomics research center at OTH Regensburg in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of clinical studies, including scheduling appointments, treatment planning, and managing patient documentation. A significant portion of the role focuses on patient care during studies and maintaining clear communication with project partners, physicians, and study coordinators. This position is particularly attractive due to its flexible working hours, the absence of night and weekend shifts, and the possibility of remote work. Based within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, you will work closely with medical professionals to ensure high-quality data collection and archiving. The contract is initially fixed until September 2027, with the potential for extension, offering a stable yet dynamic academic research environment in one of Bavaria's largest universities of applied sciences.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed vocational training in a healthcare profession with additional qualification as a Study Nurse.

Experience

  • Professional experience in clinical research or a healthcare environment
  • Experience in the clinical study sector (GCP) is highly preferred
  • Experience in patient and physician interaction
  • Experience in structured and independent project management
