Job Summary

This role focuses on the technical migration and modernization of industrial machinery, specifically porting PROMICON PLC programming to Siemens platforms. As a PLC Programmer, you will spend 1-2 years analyzing, dismantling, and rebuilding third-party machines. Your daily responsibilities include creating and maintaining programs using the pCOM motion language and the pPRO configuration tool from the PIDS software package. You will be responsible for defining variables, constants, and objects, as well as implementing complex mathematical functions and logical operators. A unique aspect of this position is the application of C-syntax for intuitive programming within an industrial automation context. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical specialist to work on long-term retrofit projects, offering a permanent contract and the potential for mobile work.
