Job Summary

This role focuses on the high-level technical challenge of porting PROMICON PLC programming to Siemens systems within the context of machine retrofitting. As a PLC Programmer, you will spend your day-to-day analyzing, dismantling, and rebuilding third-party machines over long-term project cycles (1-2 years). You will be responsible for creating and maintaining programs using the pCOM motion language and the pPRO project planning tool from the PIDS software package. Key tasks include defining variables and objects, implementing mathematical functions, and utilizing C-based syntax for intuitive programming.
