Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of control software for complex industrial machinery and systems. Your daily activities involve creating PLC logic from scratch, parameterizing drive controllers such as servo and frequency converters, and commissioning hydraulic regulators. A significant aspect of this role includes traveling worldwide to perform on-site commissioning, functional testing, and software adjustments at client facilities. You will act as a technical bridge between electronics, mechanics, and design departments while coordinating interfaces with international partners. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or advanced vocational training as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).
Experience
- Proven professional experience in PLC and HMI programming, specifically with Siemens S7 or TIA Portal
- Experience in the commissioning of machinery and industrial plants on a global scale
- Technical background in the paper machinery or printing industry is highly preferred
- Practical experience handling pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide for international on-site commissioning is required. Must be able to collaborate with international customers and partners.
