As a Senior IT Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting automation products within the defense industry sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 1st and 2nd level technical support, diagnosing complex problems, and managing change requests for ADVISE automation systems. You will work closely with both customers and internal specialist departments to ensure strict adherence to response times and service level agreements. Beyond troubleshooting, you will be responsible for the maintenance and evolution of service tools, including remote access solutions and ticketing systems. This role is unique for its blend of technical administration and project-based work, allowing you to implement minor updates and develop technical specifications for service offerings. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Technical Computer Science, Computer Science, Software Development, IT Security, Business Informatics, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in Windows-based IT environments
  • Solid background in network technology including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support and troubleshooting
  • Experience with SQL and PowerShell scripting is highly desirable
  • Experience working within service-level agreements and on-call rotations
