Job Summary

This role is based within the Saarland State Police Directorate, specifically in the Central Crime Analysis Unit (LPD 221). As a Criminal Intelligence Analyst, you will perform day-to-day monitoring of individuals and offenses using specialized digital evaluation tools. Your responsibilities include processing urgent data requests from political and media stakeholders, creating comprehensive situational reports on organized crime, and identifying high-risk offenders, such as recidivist sexual offenders. You will also play a key role in police threat management by evaluating data from various information systems and case files. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in data processing or administration who wish to contribute to public safety. Required Skills

Education

Completed relevant vocational training or degree in administration, data processing, statistics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in administration, data processing, statistics, or business administration
  • Professional experience in controlling, analysis, data preparation, or reporting
  • Experience in analytical and methodical processing of large information sets
  • Experience in self-organization and task prioritization
