This role involves the critical management and documentation of radioactive waste disposal within the nuclear decommissioning sector. As a Waste Disposal Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and verifying container and final repository documentation. Your day-to-day tasks include evaluating nuclide inventories based on analytical data, calculating activities, and deriving nuclide vectors. You will ensure compliance with radiological parameters such as radiotoxicity and heat generation while coordinating with authorities and internal departments like radiation protection and quality management. This position offers a unique remote-first work model with project-based site visits across Germany, providing high flexibility. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Practical experience in evaluating radiological parameters and calculating activity levels
  • Demonstrated experience working with final repository procedures and waste conditioning regulations
  • Proven track record of coordinating with authorities and technical experts
  • Experience in data processing and the creation of technical reports and evaluations
