Job Summary

This role involves the design and implementation of sophisticated testing systems for the industrial mass production of printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, and complete devices in Viersen. As a Test Software Developer, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from defining system requirements and designing test adapters to the practical implementation of test sequences using NI TestStand and C# under .NET 8. You will play a critical role in modernizing existing test processes, including legacy systems based on NI LabVIEW, and ensuring that all hardware controls and API connections are seamlessly integrated. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software development using C# within an industrial environment
  • Practical experience in test and measurement technology, specifically regarding electrical engineering or electronic series production
  • Experience in planning and technical design of testing strategies for assemblies and devices
  • Experience with database systems and interface integration (SQLite, MSSQL)
  • Professional experience in project execution from documentation to implementation
