Job Summary

This role involves supporting Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth by developing and optimizing production processes for the aviation industry. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for line balancing, designing innovative fixture concepts, and creating essential manufacturing data. You will act as a bridge between engineering and production, providing design advice for new developments and ensuring that technical documentation meets rigorous industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating master data in SAP, such as bills of materials and production plans, as well as generating Standard Operating Instructions (SOI). You will also perform cost calculations, handle quality notifications, and participate in PFMEA to determine testing requirements. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, completed vocational training as an Electrician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in manufacturing engineering and work preparation
  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry is highly desirable
  • Practical experience with 3D CAD systems, specifically CATIA V5
  • Experience in design and development is preferred
  • Experience in creating and approving technical construction documents and manufacturing data
