Job Summary
As a Science Communicator for the 'Color meets Flavor' Excellence Cluster, you will bridge the gap between complex particle physics and the general public. Based at Faculty IV (Theoretical Physics I), you will be responsible for coordinating outreach activities across multiple locations including Bonn, Dortmund, and Jülich. Your day-to-day work involves managing social media channels like TikTok and Instagram, organizing thematic events and competitions for students, and even realizing physics-themed theater shows. You will also manage the outreach budget and maintain the project's website. This part-time position (50%) offers a unique opportunity to shape the public identity of a high-profile DFG-funded research project. It is ideal for a creative professional who enjoys translating scientific concepts into engaging content and events while working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary university environment. The role provides significant creative freedom and flexibility in a prestigious academic setting.
Required Skills
