Job Summary

As a Service Technician at Siemens Mobility, you will be instrumental in maintaining the critical electrical infrastructure that powers urban rail systems, including S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and trams, as well as e-mobility charging stations. Your daily responsibilities involve the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of DC substations and power supply units. You will manage the entire technical lifecycle of these systems, from initial commissioning and parameterization to performing complex fault analysis and technical reporting. This role is ideal for a proactive electrical professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on field work and technical documentation. You will work closely with commissioning engineers and provide support for system acceptance and training. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, such as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering (Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik) or a similar qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the electrical field, preferably in railway power supply, national power grids, or industrial sectors
  • Proven experience as a qualified electrician (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems
  • Experience in creating technical reports and measurement protocols
