Job Summary
As an Electronics Technician at GlobalFoundries in Dresden, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and repair of complex electronic assemblies within a leading semiconductor manufacturing environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve troubleshooting and repairing power supplies, generators, motor drivers, and control systems, often without existing circuit diagrams. You will be responsible for organizing spare parts management, documenting repairs (including circuit layouts), and developing custom analysis and test units to improve repair capabilities. Additionally, you will support the training of apprentices and contribute to continuous improvement processes. This role is particularly attractive due to its blend of hands-on technical problem-solving and creative development of test solutions. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician; ideally a qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or Master Craftsman (Meister).
Experience
- Professional experience in electronic circuit technology and modern electronic components
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic assemblies without documentation
- Experience in solving complex technical problems and implementing emergency measures during malfunctions
- Experience in using modern measurement methods for component and circuit analysis
- Experience in technical documentation and generating circuit layouts

Additional
- Willingness to work in alternating shifts if required (standard role is day shift). Position is based in Dresden. Relocation support is available.
