This role involves the design and implementation of LLM-supported agent systems specifically tailored for materials science data. As a researcher at the Institute for Nanotechnology (INT), you will develop data and agent architectures to integrate heterogeneous sources and facilitate knowledge derivation. Your daily responsibilities include creating semantic representations such as ontologies and knowledge graphs, and linking Large Language Models to databases and simulation data. You will be responsible for implementing logic for data access, provenance, and reproducibility while ensuring research results are documented and published in international journals. Required Skills

Education

  • Practical experience with LLMs beyond prompt engineering, specifically in tool-use, agent control, and workflow integration
