Job Summary
The City of Bocholt is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the 'Committee Services and International Affairs' division within the Mayor's Office. In this central role, you will be responsible for the strategic management, organization, and continuous development of centralized committee services. Your daily responsibilities include preparing and overseeing city council and district committee meetings to ensure legal compliance, managing the Council Information System, and serving as the primary point of contact for political representatives and administrative bodies. You will also handle matters regarding the city's main statutes and provide technical training to staff. This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys working at the intersection of law, politics, and administration. Required Skills
Education
Civil service qualification for Career Group 2.1 (Laufbahngruppe 2.1) or a comparable qualification such as the Administrative Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).
Experience

- Experience in organizing and managing committee meetings or parliamentary services
- Proven track record in legal and organizational administrative tasks
- Experience in working with political bodies and administrative stakeholders

- The position is graded at Besoldungsgruppe A 12 LBesG or Entgeltgruppe 11 TVöD. Candidates must be available for evening committee meetings as required by the role's organizational duties.
