Job Summary

As a Tooling Designer for Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end development of helicopter assembly systems. Your daily responsibilities involve designing complex tooling and fixtures, creating technical specifications for external procurement, and managing the technical interface with suppliers. You will act as a Technical Project Lead, overseeing the entire lifecycle of manufacturing equipment from initial concept and market analysis to final acceptance and operational handover. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining high-level engineering design with hands-on manufacturing support. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a completed vocational training as an Electrician/Electronics Technician for aeronautical systems.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, or project management within the aerospace industry
  • Extensive experience in the design of fixtures and tools specifically for composite manufacturing
  • Proven experience in the production of composite components
  • Demonstrated experience in technical project leadership and supplier management
  • Practical experience with CATIA V5 and SAP systems
