Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) focuses on the administration and development of e-learning applications, specifically Learning Management Systems (LMS). You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these systems, including configuration, integration into existing campus management infrastructures, and the development of interfaces. Using modern DevOps methodologies, you will ensure the stable operation of large-scale IT systems while providing technical support and training to university users. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training in Application Development with equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector
- Several years of practical experience in the administration and optimization of web-based systems
- Proven experience in operating large-scale, complex IT systems including compliance management
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and agile workflows
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, prevention, and system analysis
