Job Summary

As a Project Engineer for Building Automation, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge technical building systems across Germany. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the conceptual planning of automation systems (MSR, KNX, BACnet), creating technical specifications, and managing tender documentation. You will act as a central coordinator between architects, clients, and contractors, ensuring seamless integration from initial design through to commissioning and functional testing. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy optimizing existing systems and developing energy-efficient building concepts. Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree (Diploma, Master, or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Supply Engineering, Building Automation, Automation Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning, commissioning, and optimization of building automation systems
  • Profound knowledge in control and regulation technology (MSR)
  • Experience in project planning software and technical documentation
  • Practical experience working within the HOAI (Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers) framework
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating with architects, project managers, and external contractors
