Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Data Platform Engineering at Deichmann, you will provide both technical and disciplinary leadership to a team of seven engineers. Your primary mission is to oversee the development, scaling, and stable operation of a modern, cloud-based data platform utilizing Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform. You will bridge the gap between technology and business departments, enabling self-service analytics and scalable data products across the entire company. This role is unique for its blend of high-level strategy and technical execution, as you will manage the transition from a legacy Oracle Data Warehouse to a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for establishing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform security and governance.
