Job Summary

As an Environmental Measurement Engineer, you will join a team of 150 experts dedicated to air quality and environmental protection. This role is primarily field-based (approximately 80% travel), where you will conduct emission and immission measurements at various industrial facilities, including power plants and chemical factories. Your daily responsibilities involve utilizing modern measurement technology to ensure compliance with statutory emission limits, performing functional tests, and calibrating automated measurement systems. You will also be responsible for on-site data plausibility checks, equipment maintenance, and direct customer communication. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree with a technical or scientific focus (e.g., Environmental/Process Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Environmental Protection Technician, or Bachelor of Science).

Experience

  • Professional experience in a technical or scientific field such as environmental technology, process engineering, or chemistry
  • Experience in technical field service or on-site customer communication
  • Experience in emission measurement technology and relevant standards (BImSchG, TA Luft) is preferred
  • Proven ability to work at heights (physical fitness and freedom from vertigo)
