Job Summary
As a Design Engineer at HIGHVOLT, a member of the REINHAUSEN Group, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-voltage and high-current testing systems for the global market. Your daily responsibilities will include designing assemblies and systems based on electrical parameters and technical calculations, with a specific focus on transformers and reactors. You will perform both mechanical and electrical calculations, define technical requirements for supplied components, and collaborate closely with the purchasing department for procurement. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise to the sales team to assist in the preparation of customer proposals. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy a mix of technical design and cross-departmental coordination. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (University or University of Applied Sciences)
Experience
- Professional experience in mechanical or electrical design preferred
- Experience in performing mechanical and electrical calculations for component dimensioning
- Proven proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
- Experience in defining technical requirements for procurement and supplier selection
- Experience in supporting sales departments with technical documentation and proposal preparation
