Job Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you will serve as the central point of contact for all IT-related inquiries within a multicultural, international renewable energy company. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve independently resolving technical issues across operating systems, Office applications, and hardware like notebooks and mobile devices via remote support, email, and phone. You will manage the full lifecycle of support requests within a ticketing system, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and contribute to the internal knowledge base by documenting solutions. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks such as backups, maintenance, and system rollouts while coordinating with external service providers. This role is ideal for proactive team players who enjoy problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in 1st level IT support
  • Proven experience working with current IT technologies and collaboration tools
  • Practical experience in Active Directory and Windows OS environments
  • Experience in independent problem-solving and ticket-based support workflows

Languages

English (Basic)

Additional

  • Willingness to travel up to 15%. Ability to work in a client/server network environment. Must be able to coordinate with external service providers.
