Job Summary

As a RAMS Manager and Safety Assessor at Siemens Mobility, you will play a critical role in the final safety assessment and approval process for modern railway signaling technology. You will act as a technical expert for interlocking systems, train control, and safety systems (such as ETCS) across various international rail applications. Your daily responsibilities include independently evaluating development processes against CENELEC standards, assessing the behavior of complex control and safety systems, and analyzing risk targets. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in control and safety technology (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik)
  • Proven background in railway signaling technology
  • Current or previous experience as a RAMS Manager, Validator, Verifier, or Approval Manager
  • Experience in evaluating development processes and system behavior in a safety-critical environment
  • Experience interacting with regulatory and supervisory authorities for system approvals
