Job Summary
This role involves executing critical thermal vacuum (TVAC) and calibration & characterization (C&C) test campaigns, often in shifts, for aerospace projects at Airbus Defence and Space. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving test procedures, critically assessing results, and analyzing root causes of events to find pragmatic solutions under time pressure. Collaboration with project teams is key to developing optimal test strategies that balance quality, time, and cost. Additionally, the role involves participating in non-conformance investigations while adhering to company quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects within the aerospace industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification
Experience
- More than two years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
- Experience working with space standards (ECSS) and in testing (plus)
- Experience working with central checkout systems including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/Packet Utilization Standard (plus)
- Telecommands and telemetry management (plus)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts over several months
