Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for onsite users, managing their digital workplace needs across various devices including PCs, notebooks, printers, smartphones, and IP telephony systems. Your daily routine involves resolving pre-qualified incidents from the ticketing system, often collaborating with specialized technical teams to ensure SLA compliance. You will manage user profiles within Active Directory, oversee hardware rollouts, and handle physical workplace transitions such as equipment setup and relocation. Beyond technical troubleshooting, you will maintain the hardware inventory and asset management system. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in cross-functional competence teams, allowing you to act as a knowledge multiplier within the user service department. It is an ideal position for a customer-oriented professional who enjoys direct interaction and structured problem-solving in a dynamic onsite environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Information Technology (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or equivalent professional experience for career changers with high IT affinity.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Experience in onsite customer service and direct user interaction
- Proven track record in handling hardware setups, relocations, and user briefings
- Experience working with ticketing systems and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Experience in managing user accounts and permissions via Active Directory
