Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician for Design Verification at BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance of innovative medical devices and combination products in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Your daily responsibilities include planning, executing, and documenting design verification tests using bio-analytical methods. You will perform visual and functional force measurements on primary packaging and delivery systems like autoinjectors, utilizing material testing equipment. A significant portion of the role involves method development, validation, and GMP-compliant documentation, including statistical evaluation and reporting in English. This position is highly collaborative, requiring regular communication with R&D teams in both Germany and the USA. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering (Physics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Plastics Technology, Materials Science) or vocational training as a Lab Technician (BTA/MTA/CTA/Biology/Chemistry) with relevant experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Experience in planning, executing, and documenting design verification tests
  • Experience in method development and validation for application systems (e.g., autoinjectors)
  • Experience in functional force measurement and material testing
  • Several years of professional experience required if applying with a vocational background (BTA/MTA/CTA)
