This role focuses on designing high-end hardware solutions for safety-critical airport infrastructure. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating electrotechnical production documents for control cabinet construction and maintaining technical documentation, including bill of materials and master data in SAP. You will play a key role in optimizing CAD templates and libraries across platforms like EPLAN and AutoCAD. Beyond technical design, you will coordinate work packages, act as a technical point of contact for the team, and drive the standardization of hardware and construction processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed further training as a Technician, Master Craftsman, or a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.

  • Experience in coordinating work packages and providing technical guidance to teams
  • Professional background in airport technology or safety-critical infrastructure is preferred
