Job Summary

As a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant in the food laboratory, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of medical, food, and water samples in a routine laboratory setting. Your daily tasks include performing wet-chemical and chromatographic analyses, as well as heavy metal and elemental analysis. You will manage the entire analytical workflow, from homogenization and sample extraction to measurement and data evaluation using advanced instrumentation such as LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, and IC. Beyond routine testing, you will maintain laboratory equipment and assist in method development, validation, and the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy technical hands-on work. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or a degree in a relevant natural science field such as Food Chemistry or Chemistry.

Experience

  • Professional experience working in a routine laboratory environment
  • Practical experience in instrumental analysis, specifically with IC or LC-MS/MS systems
  • Experience in the complete analytical cycle including sample homogenization and purification
  • Experience in technical maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation
