Job Summary

The Waterways and Shipping Authority (WSA) Elbe is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction, operation, and maintenance of electrotechnical systems across vital German waterways, including locks, weirs, canal bridges, and control centers. Based in Magdeburg, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing investment measures, developing hardware and software concepts, and managing user-specific visualization systems. A key component of the role involves the automation of lock systems and their integration into remote control centers. This position offers a high degree of independence within a modern public administration framework.
