Job Summary

As an AI / ABAP Architect at SAP, you will be responsible for designing and delivering model-agnostic AI solution architectures within ABAP landscapes. Your day-to-day work involves integrating ABAP Cloud, Private and Public Cloud, and SAP BTP (AI Core/Launchpad) to create reusable patterns for RAG, prompt templates, and multi-model routing. You will define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for quality and latency, implement LLMOps workflows including evaluation harnesses and CI/CD, and lead TCO modeling to ensure cost-effective AI operations. This role is unique as it places you at the center of SAP's AI backbone, where you will directly influence the ABAP developer experience and unlock safe, enterprise-grade AI capabilities for global partners and customers. You will join a pragmatic team focused on fast iteration with high-security guardrails, shaping how 80% of global commerce interacts with generative AI technologies.
