Job Summary
The Munich University of Applied Sciences is seeking an engaged professional for a W2 Professorship in Medical Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in medical technology, medical device safety, and fundamental engineering and physics modules. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Medical Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; plus a PhD (Doctorate) or equivalent proof of scientific aptitude.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional practice after university graduation
- At least 3 years of professional experience outside of the university sector
- Proven expertise in the development, analysis, or testing of medical technology systems
- Practical experience in industrial or clinical-technical environments
- Experience in interdisciplinary technical projects and international networking

- Maximum age of 52 for civil servant status (otherwise employed as a salaried staff member); proof of pedagogical aptitude required via trial lecture; willingness to participate in university self-administration and internationalization efforts.
