Job Summary
The Munich University of Applied Sciences is seeking an engaged professional for a W2 Professorship in Medical Engineering. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Medical Engineering, Engineering, or Physics; plus a PhD or equivalent proof of scientific aptitude; and pedagogical suitability.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional practice after completing university studies
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience outside of the university sector
- Proven expertise in the development, analysis, or testing of medical technology systems
- Practical experience in industrial or clinical-technical environments
- Experience in interdisciplinary technical projects and quality/regulatory processes

- Must be able to conduct courses in English. Appointment as a civil servant (Beamtenverhältnis) is possible if under age 52; otherwise, employment is as a salaried employee. Requires willingness to participate in university self-administration and continuous didactic training.
