Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of diverse electrical and technical systems at a Bundeswehr service center. As a specialized technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of fire and burglary alarm systems, satellite equipment, elevators, and large-scale kitchen appliances. A significant portion of the work involves managing computer-controlled high-frequency (HF) systems, cooling and ventilation units, and specialized safety lighting. You will perform electrical installations, including cable laying and distribution board setup, while meticulously documenting all technical procedures. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working independently on a variety of complex systems within a secure public service environment. The role offers the stability of the German public service (TVöD) and unique opportunities to participate in health and sports programs during working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable professional qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics for energy and building technology or industrial engineering
  • Experience in the maintenance and testing of technical building facilities
  • Experience in working with computer-controlled safety systems and HF equipment
  • Experience in electrical installation including distribution boards and wiring
  • Proven ability to work independently and reliably in a technical environment
