Job Summary
This role offers a central position in the technical support and advancement of electrical systems and telecontrol technology within the renewable energy sector. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault management of substations, grid stations, and transfer points for wind and solar energy plants. Your daily tasks involve both hands-on field work—including troubleshooting and coordinating external service providers—and conceptual work on SCADA integration and communication infrastructures. A key part of the role includes setting up VPNs, configuring routers, and performing signal tests to ensure seamless data connectivity. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of field operations and modern automation technology. The role is based in Berlin and offers significant flexibility through hybrid work options, a 38-hour work week, and a strong focus on professional development within a sustainable, future-oriented industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician), Master Craftsman (Meister), or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in high and medium voltage technology and electrical systems maintenance
- Practical experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical power plants
- Experience in telecontrol technology, including VPN and router configuration
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating external service providers and third-party contractors
- Experience with SCADA systems and network infrastructure implementation is preferred
- Experience in renewable energy sectors such as wind or solar power is an advantage

- Valid Class B driver's license (BE preferred); Fitness for heights (Höhentauglichkeit); Willingness to travel for several days; Resident in Berlin or surrounding area; Authorization to operate work platforms/lifts is desirable.
