Job Summary

As an R&D Engineer for Test Development at Roche, you will work at the intersection of innovation and patient care within the Network Core Lab Development department. You will be responsible for a high-turnover test portfolio on the cobas e platforms, specifically focusing on the revision and optimization of approved Elecsys assays to meet stringent quality standards from customers and regulatory authorities. Your daily tasks involve planning and executing complex development tasks using protein chemical and immunological methods, evaluating results according to quality management guidelines, and presenting findings in project meetings. This role is highly collaborative, utilizing the SAFe methodology to drive work packages forward. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to global diagnostics and patient treatment while working in a supportive environment that values personal expression and professional growth. This is a fixed-term position for two years based in Penzberg.
