Job Summary
As a Project Engineer specializing in Environmental Protection and Emission Measurements, you will play a vital role in air pollution control by independently conducting emission measurements of air pollutants at various industrial sites. Your daily responsibilities include the functional testing and calibration of continuous measuring devices, followed by the detailed evaluation and reporting of results in technical statements. This role offers a unique blend of field and office work, with approximately 50-60% of your time spent on multi-day field assignments across Germany and occasionally abroad. You will manage projects holistically, from initial offer creation to final invoicing, allowing for significant professional growth and the eventual transition into a project leadership position. This position is ideal for those passionate about sustainability and national environmental legislation who enjoy a 'hands-on' approach within a supportive, employee-owned engineering firm.
Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences, preferably in Environmental Technology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in engineering or natural sciences
- Practical experience in emission measurement technology is preferred
- Experience in handling German environmental regulations and legal frameworks
- Experience in project processing from quotation to invoicing
- Entry-level candidates or career changers with relevant theoretical knowledge are welcome
