Job Summary
As a Project Engineer in Environmental Protection, you will play a vital role in industrial sustainability by independently conducting emission measurements of air pollutants at various industrial sites. Your daily responsibilities will involve the functional testing and calibration of continuous measuring equipment, followed by the detailed analysis and documentation of results into official reports and expert opinions. The role is highly dynamic, with 50-60% of your time spent in the field, primarily regionally but also across Germany and occasionally abroad. You will manage projects holistically, from initial offer creation to final invoicing, with the opportunity to progress into a Project Lead position. This role is ideal for those passionate about air quality control and national environmental legislation. Required Skills
Education
University degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Engineering or Natural Sciences, preferably in Environmental/Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in emission measurement technology is preferred, though entry-level candidates with relevant theoretical knowledge are encouraged to apply
- Experience in interpreting and applying German environmental regulations such as TA Luft and BImSchG
- Practical experience in field work and technical data evaluation
- Experience in project coordination, from quoting to invoicing
