Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician in Metal Analysis at Eurofins Umwelt in Tübingen, you will play a vital role in environmental protection by conducting chemical analyses of water and air samples. Your daily responsibilities include sample preparation and utilizing advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, specifically ICP-MS and AFS, to detect metals. Beyond testing, you will be responsible for evaluating and documenting results, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and managing consumable supplies. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA).
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical laboratory environments
- Experience in performing quantitative and qualitative analytical procedures
- Practical experience with ICP-MS and AFS instrumentation
- Preferred experience in Gas Chromatography and LIMS applications
- Experience in creating and revising test instructions and documentation
