Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in Gas Chromatography (GC) for a leading environmental analysis company in Tübingen, Germany. The primary responsibilities include preparing environmental samples, particularly water samples, using various extraction and derivatization methods, and analyzing them using quantitative and qualitative GC techniques (including GC-MS and GC-FID). The technician is also responsible for the evaluation, assessment, and documentation of results, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and proactively troubleshooting systematic errors.
