Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership role within the Computational Innovation function at Boehringer Ingelheim, focused on transforming cancer therapy. As the head of the Computational Biology team for Cancer Target Discovery, you will lead a high-performing group of scientists in identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets using in-silico methods. Your daily work involves defining computational strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional partners including oncologists, data engineers, and experimental biologists. You will drive the application of modern AI/ML and statistical modeling to massive multimodal datasets, including single-cell omics and clinicogenomic data. Required Skills

Education

PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
