Job Summary

As an Accounting & Tax Manager at accompio, you will play a pivotal role in managing group-wide tax operations for a private-equity-backed IT group with over 700 specialists. Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing VAT, income tax, and tax compliance, as well as coordinating with external tax consultants to ensure timely and audit-ready documentation. You will actively shape the company's financial future by developing tax governance standards, transfer pricing guidelines, and supporting structural integrations such as mergers and acquisitions. This role is unique for its blend of operational tax management and strategic project work within a dynamic, growing environment. You will also provide hands-on support for monthly and annual financial statements according to German Commercial Code (HGB) standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial training or a university degree with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, or Taxation; alternatively, qualification as a Certified Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt) and/or Certified Management Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in tax consulting or an in-house finance role with a focus on taxation
  • Profound experience in financial accounting and the preparation of financial statements according to HGB
  • Experience in coordinating with external tax advisors and maintaining audit-ready documentation
  • Experience in Private Equity or corporate group environments is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in transfer pricing and process harmonization
