Job Summary

As an Electrical Systems Inspection Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of industrial and public electrical installations. Your daily responsibilities involve conducting detailed assessments and inspections of electrical systems, including fire alarm and voice alarm systems, emergency lighting, and power supplies, specifically focusing on their operational safety according to building regulations. You will be responsible for creating expert reports, conducting damage investigations, and providing construction-phase inspections for electrical projects. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a comprehensive training concept to become a legally recognized expert (Prüfsachverständiger) or an Approved Inspection Body (ZÜS) expert for explosion protection if you do not already hold these certifications. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study. A completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or similar is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning, installation, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems
  • Experience in creating technical expert reports and conducting damage investigations
  • Experience with relevant technical standards and regulations such as DIN, VDE, and VDI
  • Experience in construction-phase inspections for electrical engineering projects

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to undergo continuous further training to achieve legal recognition as an expert inspector.
