Job Summary

As a Magnet Integration Engineer at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the development, testing, and modification of MRI magnet systems, with a specific focus on defining interfaces for mechanical and cryogenic components as well as magnet electronics. You will ensure seamless integration and documented handovers to production while utilizing advanced 3D modeling and physical mock-ups to facilitate system design. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to coordinate with international teams across Germany, the UK, and China. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Physics, Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on mechatronic systems), or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience with medical systems, potentially gained through internships or working student positions
  • Experience in the field of MRI systems or a closely related medical technology area is preferred
  • Proven experience working within an international environment with high intercultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated experience in magnet technology and mechanical design principles
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination across global locations
