Job Summary

This high-impact leadership role within the Grid Technologies Switchgears division focuses on ensuring global product quality, process excellence, and sustainability. You will oversee the Product Safety Management System, acting as the primary owner of the Product Safety Officer function. Day-to-day, you will manage compliant workflows, collaborate with engineering and suppliers to mitigate risks, and drive improvements in First Pass Yield (FPY) and Non-Conformance Costs (NCC). You are responsible for aligning global sites, promoting best practices, and integrating sustainability KPIs like CO2e and circularity into the Quality Management System. The position is unique for its broad scope, combining technical product integrity with environmental stewardship and global regulatory compliance across a multi-site manufacturing environment. You will lead monthly performance dialogues with factory leaders and drive systemic improvements through structured problem-solving and risk assessment methodologies like FMEA and SPC.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial/Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Certified CE Coordinator; Green Belt or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Quality, Product Engineering, or Manufacturing within multi-site environments
  • Proven track record in improving FPY, OTD, and NCC through structured methodologies
  • Experience in high-growth or fast-paced industrial environments
  • Hands-on experience in global conformity assessment and product risk estimation
  • Leadership experience in matrix or global organizations influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience with material compliance and eco-design concepts
