This critical role at IT-Guard GmbH involves overseeing two vital pillars of modern corporate governance: Data Protection (GDPR/BDSG) and Cybersecurity Compliance (NIS-2). The successful candidate will act as a central interface between management, IT, and legal departments, ensuring the company meets stringent regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining processing directories, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), and building an Information Security Management System (ISMS) from the ground up. You will also lead risk analyses, develop incident response plans, and conduct employee awareness training. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, IT Security, Law, Compliance Management, or a comparable qualification. Certifications such as Data Protection Officer, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or IT-Grundschutz knowledge are highly desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in monitoring compliance with data protection regulations
- Experience in creating technical and organizational measures (TOM) and data protection documentation
- Proven experience in risk analysis and gap analysis within an IT security context
- Experience in building or managing management systems (ISMS) according to NIS-2 or similar frameworks
- Experience in communicating with regulatory authorities and management-level stakeholders
