Job Summary
This role serves as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEFK) for the Technical Tax Office of Berlin, ensuring the safe and compliant operation of electrical systems and equipment across the Berlin financial administration. You will be responsible for the planning, organization, and control of inspections for both mobile and stationary electrical equipment in tax offices and IT server rooms. Key tasks include ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (DGUV, BetrSichV, DIN VDE), providing technical guidance to instructed persons and electrical specialists, and coordinating with external service providers. You will evaluate electrical safety, decide on equipment decommissioning, and develop safety concepts and operating instructions. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman's Certificate (Meister) in Electrical Engineering (Industrial or Trade) or a Master's degree with specific additional training; Qualification as a Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEFK) according to DIN VDE 1000-10 (or willingness to obtain it).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrotechnical fields
- Proven experience with DGUV inspections and electrical testing procedures
- Extensive knowledge of electrotechnical standards and regulations (VDE, DGUV)
- Experience in technical instruction and supervision of electrical personnel
- Professional experience in coordinating external specialist companies

- Must pass an extended security clearance (SÜ 2) prior to hiring. Location is Berlin. Full-time (39.4 hours/week) or part-time options available. Permanent contract.
