Required Skills
Education
PhD/Doctorate in Computational Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Solid State Physics, or Thermodynamics.
Experience
- Professional experience in digital materials and process development, specifically with material models and neural networks
- Experience in leading or co-leading internal and external research projects and managing consortia
- Proven track record in systematic modeling of structure-property relationships and damage mechanisms
- Experience with experimental planning, algorithm development, and data integration
- Postdoc experience, international research programs, or junior professorships are preferred
