Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Industrial/System Electrician looking to take responsibility for the electrical systems within a high-quality copper recycling and casting facility in Ulm. Day-to-day, you will manage the installation, maintenance, repair, and optimization of machinery and plant systems within the melting works and building technology. A core part of the job involves systematic fault-finding and permanent troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with production goals, occupational safety, and CE conformity. You will independently handle modification and modernization projects for the electrical technology of production plants, perform electrical safety checks on operating equipment, and manage spare parts procurement/storage. The position requires a qualified electrician, ideally with further technical certification (Technician or Master), and specific knowledge in control, regulation, and drive technology, particularly Siemens S5/S7. While primarily a day-shift role, flexibility for night and weekend on-call duties is required, making this an engaging opportunity for a proactive and quality-conscious team player.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification, plus completed advanced training as a Technician or Master Electrician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance environment (Multiple years preferred)
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of industrial plants
