Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Bioengineering, or equivalent. Alternatively, completed vocational training as a BTA, CTA, Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or Pharmaceutical/Chemical Technician with relevant experience.

Experience

  • Practical experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production environment
  • Professional experience in Upstream Processing (cell cultivation, fermentation, harvest)
  • Experience in GMP-compliant documentation and quality management (SOPs, CAPA, Change Control)
  • Experience operating process control systems and SAP
  • Several years of professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
