Job Summary
This role involves working at the Research Institute for Post-Mining Landscapes (FIB) in Finsterwalde, focusing on the independent execution of laboratory analyses across plant, soil, and water samples. You will be responsible for content determination and residue analysis, as well as the calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment. A significant portion of the day-to-day work includes sample preparation and the meticulous documentation of analytical data within the Quality Management (QM) system. Additionally, you will support the laboratory's accreditation processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to environmental research. The role offers a 32-hour work week with a 3-year fixed-term contract that includes a potential option for permanent employment. Compensation is based on the TV-L (Entgeltgruppe 6) public service pay scale, providing a stable and professional research environment.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Laboratory Technician, or an equivalent technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
- Experience with analytical instrument software is desirable
- Experience in independent execution of laboratory analyses
- Experience working within Quality Management systems
