Job Summary
This dynamic role within the Hessian Ministry of Finance in Wiesbaden focuses on shaping and securing the digital infrastructure of the state administration. As an IT Security Officer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in accordance with BSI standards and ISO/IEC 27001. Your daily activities include conducting risk analyses, monitoring compliance with legal regulations like GDPR and NIS-2, and advising internal and external stakeholders on security-oriented IT architectures. You will work closely with technical departments and committees to ensure that security requirements are integrated into digitalization projects from the outset. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree (Master's or University Diploma) in IT Security, Computer Science, or a closely related IT field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operational IT security within a complex technical environment.
- Professional experience in public administration is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in implementing IT security standards such as ISO 27x or BSI Grundschutz.
- Experience in creating and maintaining security concepts and guidelines.
